Hi, I’m Eloise, 

I’m a former human rights lawyer turned weight-neutral, body positive personal trainer, yoga teacher, and wellbeing coach. 

One Complete Life is a site is for women with a history of dieting and body hate. If you’re ready to stop putting your life on hold then you’ve come to the right place. I’m here to help you liberate yourself from diet culture, make peace with your body, and rediscover the joy in eating and exercise.

I know how important the journey from dieting to body liberation is because I’ve lived it myself. 

I know what its like to look in the mirror and hate what you see. I’ve tried every fad diet going. I’ve tried hating myself slim. I’ve tried to shape my body with hours upon hours of grueling exercise. I’ve laid on my bed crying because I’d ‘failed’ at my latest starvation diet. I know what it’s like to feel the shame and guilt when each one of these efforts to change my body didn’t work.

I wish I knew then what I know now: I wasn’t failing, diet culture was failing me. 

Now I know the truth: diets don’t work. In fact, they make things worse. The whole weight loss industry thrives precisely because diets set you up to fail. And then when they fail, diet culture tells you that it was your fault. 

There is a better way.

If you have a history of yo-yo dieting, disordered eating or eating disorders; If you have low self-esteem or poor body image; If you hate exercising; If you feel like you are too inflexible or large for yoga; I’m here to tell you that it is possible to repair your relationship with food and exercise. It is possible to break free from the misery and self-loathing. It is possible to make peace with your body and finally find a sense of mental and physical well-being.

That’s why I set up this site: to help other women unlearn all the diet culture bullshit so that they can finally stop hating themselves and become the confident, empowered, and strong af women they were meant to be.
