Recipe: Rose and Cardomom Shake

Recently I’ve been having serious India cravings. Since neither my schedule nor my bank balance will allow another trip east just now, I decided to whip myself up this shake instead.

Although it hasn’t completely cured my cravings, this sweet rose and cardamon shake, inspired by the tastes of India, does make a delicious breakfast, snack or healthy pudding?

Rose and Cardamon Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana
  • 30 grams pitted dates
  • 1 scoop unflavoured whey
  • 1 drop Holy Lama rose spice drops
  • 1 drop Holy Lama cardamon spice drops
  • 1 sprinkling nutmeg, to finish

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients except the nutmeg in your blender and whizz it up. 

  2. Top with the nutmeg and serve.
